Therapeutic yoga is designed to make yoga accessible to everybody including those recovering from an injury or surgery. In a gentle therapeutic style we will invite movement through the body through movement and breath practices designed to help you feel good in the body you are in. Zoom provides an opportunity for you to work in your own space, using whatever props are available to you to support you in your practice. Cushions, pillows, blankets and chairs may all have their place in class. This class may be repeated and is open to all!

This class will build on Therapeutic Yoga concepts to incorporate exploration of the core and the pelvic floor through as we move through gentle yoga warm ups and poses. During our flow sessions we will reinforce connection between breath and movement, the core and the heart, and introduce other important concepts such as bone health pelvic floor awareness, grounding/stabilization, and relaxation. Our classes will conclude with a yoga nidra for deep relaxation in each class.
