Questions?
The following are some frequently asked questions. Don't see your question here? Contact me.
How do I know which treatment is right for me?
Physical therapy is for when you are in pain and/or recovering from an injury or surgery. Yoga is best suited for those who are looking to gain body awareness, education, fitness, and to de-stress. Shiatsu massage offers a passive treatment option to receive touch and alleviate mental and physical stress.
How much does each session type cost?
An initial assessment is 75 minutes and is $140. Follow up sessions are based on an hourly rate (60-75 minutes) of $125. A yoga series may be purchased at a 25% discount (i.e., 5 sessions for $500). Shiatsu sessions are offered on a sliding scale of $80-$125. No one will be turned away due to lack of funds. Please contact me to discuss payment options/sliding scale.
Is it covered by insurance?
Integrated PT and Yoga is in-network with BCBS PPO and Medicare- these providers will be billed directly for Physical Therapy services. You may still owe co-insurance on these sessions. Other insurance providers may cover Physical Therapy services in part. You will be given a “superbill” you can submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement. Please contact your provider in advance to determine your out-of-network coverage for physical therapy. Yoga and Shiatsu sessions are typically not covered.
What if I don't have insurance?
If you don't have insurance or choose not to bill your insurance provider, the cash-pay option presents a low-cost alternative to what other physical therapy clinics are billing out. A sliding scale may be an option for you as well. Please be in touch to discuss.
Can I expect a full recovery? Why don’t I feel better?
Recovery depends on many factors, such as how long you have had your injury or diagnosis, your commitment to your exercises or asana practice, and regular attendance at physical therapy or yoga sessions.
