Wary of returning to the gym, or just not into that scene? You can stay strong from your own home using just your bodyweight and some simple props.
In this 6-week series, yoga teacher and physical therapist Becky Liston offers an approach to yoga postures that focuses on strengthening the musculoskeletal system. Not only does increasing strength help with daily activities, it can reduce joint pain that arises from instability or muscle weakness.
This series features practices for the upper body: neck, upper back, shoulders, arms, wrists and hands.
This class is appropriate for all ages and levels of experience. Modifications will be given to increase or decrease your challenge. Classes are held on Zoom with recordings sent aftewards for home practice.
No class on March 24 for spring break.
Cost: $130, members save 15%, sliding scale scholarships freely offered upon request.
